Job description
A North Leicestershire based secondary school has an immediate need for a Science Teacher to work with them until the end of the academic year. The school caters for c900 pupils. The school is benefitting hugely under new leadership and is on a prolonged journey of continuous improvement.

As the Science Teacher in this city school you will deliver Biology, Physics and Chemistry curriculums to KS3, KS4 & KS5 pupils. You will work closely with subject leaders to devise lessons that engage and challenge pupils to make good progress in all subjects. You will be asked to create a classroom environment that keeps pupils occupied and on task. A creative and animated approach to teaching is one that would be well received thus enhancing student's capacity to learn and produce positive results.

Applications are welcomed from QTS and NQT Science Teachers that have the capacity and energy to help students exceed expectations. It is hoped that in addition to the broader science curriculum knowledge that will have the expertise required to maintain learner interest and ensure that behaviour policies are adhered to.

You will have a huge opportunity to make a significant impact on the outcomes of pupil progress and establish yourself as an ambassador for the department. This position offer attractive day rates, stability and longevity. You will be required to work 5 days a week until the end of the academic year.
