Teacher of PE (Male)

At Protocol Education, we work with a range of secondary schools and academies in need of teaching and support staff, to enrich the curriculum and learning of their students. I am currently working with a mainstream secondary school in the Headingly area of Leeds, looking for a full-time male PE teacher from September 2022.

Requirements of the role:

  • Hold QTS – Newly Qualified and Experienced Teachers will be considered for this post.
  • Teach KS3 & KS4 practical PE – experience teaching across sports.
  • Able to teach PE theory up to GCSE level.
  • Able to effectively maintain health and safety in practical session.
  • Hold strong behaviour management skills.
  • Able to effectively adhere to the school’s ethos and behaviour policy.
  • Experience working with SEN or EAL students is beneficial.
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
