We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of French to join a welcoming secondary school in Middlesbrough from September 2026.

This is a full-time position suitable for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to develop within a supportive and forward-thinking department.

The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver engaging French lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Inspire a passion for languages and cultural learning
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
  • Contribute positively to the wider MFL department and school community

Requirements:

  • UK QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching French within a secondary school setting
  • Strong classroom management and subject knowledge
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
