We are currently working with a secondary school in Middlesbrough seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed MFL Teacher for September 2026.

The school is open to applications from teachers specialising in French, Spanish, or both subjects, and welcomes applications from experienced practitioners as well as ECTs.

The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality MFL lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Inspire students to develop confidence and enthusiasm for languages
  • Contribute positively to a supportive and collaborative department
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, progress and achievement

Requirements:

  • UK QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching French and/or Spanish within a secondary setting
  • Strong classroom management and subject knowledge
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
