On behalf of a secondary school located in Walthamstow, Protocol Education are seeking to appoint a Teacher of Maths to join their school.

The successful candidate will be focused on the attainment and progress of all pupils, have a proven track record of successful teaching, and hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree.

This post is full time however applications will be accepted from those looking for part time roles, applications will be accepted from ECT.

In the latest Ofsted report this school was rated Outstanding for their strong behaviour system ensuring the welfare of staff and students are well looked after.

 

Teacher of Maths Responsibilities:

  • Plan and teach well-structured, differentiated lessons that are aligned with the National Curriculum
  • Manage behaviour effectively to create a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment so that students can focus on learning
  • Participate actively throughout the network, by attending relevant meetings, and, as appropriate, delivering network-wide training and initiatives
  • Work with colleagues, students, and families to develop a strong school community 
  • Participate in and/or create extra-curricular and interdisciplinary activities and trips

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
