Teacher of Geography – Full-Time (Long-Term Supply)
Location: Middlesbrough
Start Date: After Easter 2026
We are working in partnership with a secondary school in Middlesbrough to recruit a Teacher of Geography for a full-time, long-term supply role starting after the Easter break.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and committed Geography specialist to join a supportive department and make an immediate impact on student progress and engagement.
The Role:
Teaching Geography across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable but not essential)
Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
Assessing, monitoring and supporting student progress
Contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Working collaboratively with the Humanities department
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Have recent experience teaching Geography in a secondary school setting
Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills
Be adaptable, reliable and committed to raising attainment
Have a genuine enthusiasm for Geography and education
