An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and suitably qualified Teacher of English / Media Studies to join a well-regarded secondary school in Bristol. We are looking for an enthusiastic educator who is passionate about their subject and able to inspire, challenge, and engage students in their learning.

This role is suitable for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers who hold a strong degree in English, Media Studies, or a related subject.

The English and Media departments are well established and highly regarded, with strong academic outcomes and a commitment to delivering engaging and high-quality teaching. Media Studies is offered at both GCSE and A-Level, and the subject continues to grow in popularity among students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach English and/or Media Studies across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire creativity, critical thinking, and a passion for learning
• Support students in developing strong literacy, analytical, and communication skills
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support academic growth
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to curriculum development and departmental success
