Job description


Protocol Education are currently recruiting for a Teacher of Design Technology to work with a secondary school located in Brentwood, Essex

The ideal candidate will be professional, flexible and adaptable with the opportunity to work in a demanding and rewarding school. Our client school are looking for a candidate who is able to teach Design Technology to KS3 - KS4 students.

Position: Teacher of Design Technology

Location: Brentwood, Essex

Start Date: April 2019 or September 2019

Salary: MPS/UPS

We are looking for a candidate who:

• Believes that every student, regardless of their background, can make outstanding progress
• Is rigorous, relentless, determined, creative and inspirational in their style and presence as a teacher.
• Utilises a variety of teaching methods to present engaging and thoughtful lessons
• Is caring and has the drive and passion to continue to develop strong relationships and the wellbeing with staff, students, parents, governors and the local community
• Be passionate for teaching with the ability to deliver planned lessons to the highest quality
• Be compassionate and respectable towards staff and students alike
• Demonstrate commitment to education and the development of pupils
• Create dynamic and inspiring teaching methods
