We are looking for a creative and skilled Teacher of Design & Technology to join a secondary school in North Tyneside that values ambition, resilience, and practical learning. Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging D&T lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Prepare students for GCSE assessments, practical and theory components

  • Support the development of practical, creative and technical skills

  • Track student progress and provide interventions where necessary

  • Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Strong subject knowledge in Design & Technology or specialism (Product Design, Resistant Materials, Engineering etc.)

  • Experience teaching GCSE (KS5 desirable)

  • Confident classroom and workshop management

  • Collaborative, innovative, and proactive
