Job description
We are looking for a Computer Science teacher to join a fantastic school located in Cambridge. The Computer Science teaching post is a Full Time position on a Long term supply basis which could turn permanent role after 1 term for the right candidate.

This is an Outstanding' school in Cambridge. The school is a mixed school where the behaviour is rated as good. This is a fantastic opportunity to have great work life balance and be part of a future minded school.

The successful candidate will need the following;

- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or overseas trained.
- PGCE in ICT / Computer Science or degree level equivalent
- Experience in a secondary school within the last two years
- Excellent subject knowledge and passion for ICT
- Be a highly motivated individual, able to prepare, plan and deliver focused and stimulating lessons that inspire and keep pupils engaged.
- Proven experience in collaborating with colleagues
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure or Overseas Police Clearances

You must be an excellent classroom practitioner, who employs well-structured schemes of work to encourage all abilities to achieve fantastic results and build their skills base for life.

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
