We’re looking for someone who can:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging Art and Design lessons across Key Stages
  • Create an inclusive classroom where every student feels seen, supported, and challenged
  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including students with SEND
  • Build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues
  • Promote independence, confidence, and a real love for learning
  • Work collaboratively within the department and wider school community
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and achievement for all students

What the role includes:

  • Full teaching responsibilities within Art and Design
  • Planning, delivering, and assessing creative and challenging lessons
  • Supporting student progress through effective tracking and intervention
  • Acting as a form tutor for a designated group of students
  • Contributing to pastoral care and whole-school development
  • Working closely with the Head of Department and Creative Faculty team
  • Taking part in CPD, training, and ongoing professional development

We’d love to hear from teachers who:

  • Hold UK QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
  • Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for Art and Design
  • Believe in high standards with warm, consistent support
  • Can inspire students of all abilities to succeed
  • Bring positivity, resilience, and a team-first attitude

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
