Job description
Protocol Education is assisting a top-performing junior school in Oxted with the recruitment of a KS2 teacher to join in September 2019.

This OFSTED-rated Good, two-form-entry school offers excellent peer support and CPD.

You will be joining experienced year group leaders to plan with and share ideas and activities.

The School

This is a two-form entry junior school, spacious and modern, housing state of the art facilities. Based in the borough of Surrey.

Key Accountabilities
Planning, Teaching and Classroom Management

· Identify clear teaching and learning outcomes with appropriate challenge, high
expectations and a clear vision on assessment criteria.
· Organise and manage groups or individual children ensuring differentiation of learning
requirements which reflects all abilities and identifies SEN
· Maintain discipline in accordance with the school's policy and encourage punctuality, good
behaviour and high standards of work
· Ensure classroom support is used effectively
· Encourage children to think and talk about their learning to develop independence and to
be proud of their work

To be considered for this role, you must be a qualified teacher and an excellent communicator, committed to raising the attainment of primary aged students. The school will consider experienced teachers as well as newly qualified teachers

Person Specification
•Newly qualified teachers and/or overseas trained teachers are welcome to apply
•Bachelor of Education, PGCE (or equivalent) teaching degree
•Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
•Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
