Job description

Experienced Teaching Assistant required for Mainstream Primary Schools in Wimbledon, London
* Potential for a permanent contract in September 2017
* £70 - £80 per day
Protocol Education is working with various primary school in the Wimbledon area. They are looking for a general teaching assistant for the remainder of this academic year to support in KS1 with the view to go permanent in September 2017.
Responsibilities:
* Work across KS1 in various classrooms as required
* Intervention groups - literacy, numeracy and reading activities
* Support children with additional needs on a 1:1 basis as directed by the class teacher
* General TA duties including creating displays, tidying up and playground duties
The school require a teaching assistant with a minimum of 6 months recent experience. You must be able to hit the ground running and work pro-actively and independently. Ideally, you will hold relevant industry qualifications or a degree.
Job Highlights:
* Fulltime, Monday - Friday: 08:30 - 16:00
* KS1 - Work across year 1 and 2
* Intervention groups - work independently to support children with their academics
