Job description
Are you a talented Teaching Assistant/LSA for EYFS/KS1/KS2 looking for a role in Melton Mowbray/Oakham/Vale of Belvoir or surrounding areas?

If so then Protocol Education Leicester would like to hear from you!

We are currently looking for dedicated primary teaching assistants/LSA's in the Melton Mowbray/Oakham/Vale of Belvoir areas to join our talent pool for the Autumn term 2016. We work closely with a variety schools that are looking for day-to-day and temporary roles which often lead on to more permanent roles for the suitable candidate both full and part time opportunities.

We have a range of schools in the area to suit most TA's whose role will be to offer their full support to enhance student's learning. Our schools provide a welcoming, caring and stimulating environment, supporting a range of student abilities which can offer an opportunity to gain SEN and other specialist experience.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be able to communicate clearly and patiently offering support to children who struggle with English as an additional language.

Be able to carry out 1:1 activities as well as providing general classroom support.

• Be confident in building rapport with pupils, parents and staff.

• Ensure pupils learning journals are filled out properly and are up to date.

• Be able to communicate clearly and patiently offering support to children who struggle with English as an additional language.

• Assist the teacher with class preparation.

• Show support in all tasks even administration such as handing out / collecting papers, photocopying, light marking and display work.

• Uphold the rules of the school and the classroom as well as practising safeguarding as per the school behavioural policy.

• Become an extension of the teacher you are supporting to create an outstanding learning environment for the children in your care.
