Job description
Protocol Education is currently recruiting for a KS2 Teaching Assistants to work in KS2 in a primary school based in Shropshire.

The role is full time (term-time only) and is to start in September 2019. You will be working mostly in Year 5 & 6 but should be comfortable working across KS2. You will be working closely with the class teacher providing them and the children with necessary support in their everyday activities and social interactions with other students, helping them improve their skills and achieve their educational targets.

To apply you will have had proven experience working in KS2 in a UK primary school. You will have a patient and calm personality but will be able to be firm when needed. A degree education is preferable but not essential.

You must also:
• Be eligible to work in the UK
• Have up to date professional childcare related references (covering the last 2 years)
• Have an enhanced DBS disclosure on the Update Service of be happy to apply for one

We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
