Job description
A school in North Bristol are looking for TA's to start full time ASAP. This good' Ofsted rated school are looking for TA's who have experience with SEND. It is a school for children with moderate to severe learning difficulties and ASD. It is a rapidly expanding school, with four sites and caters to a wide range of pupils in both terms of age and ability therefore it is crucial for candidates to have experience working with SEND.

Work will be during school hours, 8:30-3:30 Monday-Friday, and will involve group work as well as 1:1 support. The class sizes are very small due to the needs of the children. The school runs from Primary ages through to Secondary ages.

We are looking for candidates who have come from all different employment backgrounds. School experience isn't essential but working with additional needs or vulnerable children/adults is. Whether you have a background in health care, counselling, mental health or support in other areas, your skills will be beneficial and transferrable for this role.

Essential Criteria:
•Be enthusiastic and flexible with a very "hands-on" approach
•Be prepared to get involved with school life and make a positive contribution to the school
•Have valid SEND experience in or outside of the classroom
•Have a positive and friendly approach

Desirable Criteria:
•Team Teach training or equivalent positive handling training
•Qualification in SEND or a TA qualification
•Access to own transport
