Are you a Support worker looking for a change?

Protocol Education are currently actively seeking support workers who are looking to move into a special education teaching environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who want to make a change from a community support worker who deals with individuals with SEN experience and would like to move to working with young children in an educational environment. The working hours for this role is Monday - Friday 08:30 - 16:00.

The school which is in Peckham close to Peckham Rye Station and is rated outstanding by Ofsted and provides education for 2 - 11 years old. You would be joining an experienced team of professionals who are committed to providing individualised learning, support and opportunities for pupils with severe learning difficulties so that the individual children's needs are met.

The ideal candidate for this role will be energetic and enthusiastic who promotes strong teamwork. Is able to provide continuous encouragement for improvement for all.

The requirements for this role:

• Being able to engage and build relationships with young children with ASD.
• Being able to take direction and work within a team.
• Being comfortable working 1:1 or in small groups unsupervised.

Other Experience and desirable qualifications:

• First aid trained
• Team Teach (This training is available through Protocol Education)
