Job description
Are you an empathetic learning support assistant who feels they can fully comprehend individual's learning and emotional needs and support them to meet their physical needs?

An improving school in Darlington are looking for someone who has had experience working 1:1 with children or young people and have an understanding of special education needs.

The role will be part time, between the hours of 10am-2pm, and will involve the feeding and changing of learners with additional needs. You will need an empathetic nature and a "can do" attitude.

We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00
