Protocol Education is currently recruiting Teaching Assistants for day-to-day and short-term supply opportunities across primary, secondary and specialist SEND settings.

This is a great opportunity if you want flexibility while gaining experience across different schools and year groups.

The Role

• Support teachers with day-to-day classroom activities.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support where required.
• Support pupils with learning, behaviour and additional needs.
• Assist with literacy, numeracy and classroom activities.
• Help maintain a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Follow school routines, lesson plans and individual pupil strategies.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Adapt quickly to different schools, classes and year groups.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, LSA, SEN TA or in a similar education/support role.
• Relevant UK experience is desirable.
• SEN/SEND experience is advantageous.
• Patient, caring and adaptable approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable and professional.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
