Job description
We are looking for Playworkers to work on a supply basis within Cambridgeshire. Playworkers are required to work assignments such as before school breakfast club, after school clubs or during the school holidays often on site at schools.

A Playworkers job descriptions:

. Room preparation before the session
. Preparation of room activities
. Preparation of snacks and refreshments
. Participating and playing alongside the children
. Show initiative with children
. Encouraging positive behaviour, reinforcing and referring to club agreements
. Tidying the site
. Supervising children, inside and outside
. Escorting children safely around the site
. Working as a team member with existing staff

It would be desirable to have a Playwork or Childcare Qualification Playworkers however it is not essential. You must have prior experience with children this can be paid work or voluntary and be able to provide two suitable references.
