Protocol Education are working collaborate with a 11-16 academy located in Walthamstow, the school are seeking to appoint a Subject Specialist Tutor to join their team.

As a Subject Specialist Tutor will provide you with the opportunity to work with SEN/ SEMH students who need a little extra support to realise their full academic potential.

This role requires you to work 1-1 and in small groups supporting students with Maths, English and/or Science.

Applications will be accepted from graduates who are thinking of pursuing a career in education and for experienced practitioners who want to build on their existing skills.

Requirements of a Subject Specialist Tutor:

  • Good communication skills
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills
  • Ability to work 1-1 or in small groups
  • Ability to adapt to different learning styles
  • A positive approach to managing challenging behaviour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
