Sports Coaches – Become an Unqualified Supply Teacher (Free Training Provided)
Pay: £100 to £120 per day
Location: Secondary Schools in Bristol, with placements close to where you live. Driving is in no way required, but always appreciated to expand your opportunities.
Type of employment: part and full time available; day-to-day and permanent placements available.

We support schools with day-to-day emergency cover, so our Unqualified Supply Teachers are ready to step in and support lessons on the day. Many people move into long-term placements within a few weeks of joining us, especially those with coaching, mentoring or behavioural confidence. The Role
As an Unqualified Supply Teacher, you’ll step into the teacher’s shoes for the day. Lessons are already planned for you, so your job is to lead the class, guide pupils through the set work and maintain a positive, calm learning environment. Sports coaches excel in this role, because you already know how to manage groups, give clear instructions, stay composed under pressure and motivate young people. It’s all the same skills, just swapped from the pitch to the classroom.

The Ideal Candidate
You’ll be someone who enjoys working with young people and brings confidence, consistency and positivity into the room. We especially welcome those with:
• Sports coaching or PE leadership experience
• Experience motivating or mentoring young people
• Team leadership or group management skills
• Customer service or public-facing roles
• Summer camps, youth work or community coaching
• SEND or care-based experience
If you’re reliable, patient, enthusiastic and keen to learn, you’ll fit right in. You’ll also need the right to work in the UK.

WHAT DO WE NEED TO CLEAR YOU
To get you cleared we’ll need: Passport, 2 proofs of address (e.g. driving licence, utility bill, council tax, P45/60), CV covering 10 years of all work or education with gaps accounted for, 2 years of references (including childcare if applicable), OSPC if you lived overseas for 3 months or more in the last 5 years.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
