Job description
Sports coaches / Cover Supervisor - £55-£60

Are you a sports coach? Have you ever considered teaching? As a sports coach you are extremely well equipped for a career in teaching.

You may be surprised to learn that you already have many of the key skills that teaching requires. Your ability to inspire, lead and follow protocol is all vital to your success as a teacher.

Protocol Education will offer you the opportunity to gain experience in a range of schools as one of our cover supervisors. As a cover supervisor you will be expected to deliver lessons planned by the teacher to key stage 3 and 4 classes. The job will be extremely varied and you can expect to teach a range of subjects to different year groups.

Protocols also work with a number of Pupil Referral Units in and around Nottingham. Through experience, sports coaches work extremely well with less-engaged or challenging pupils so this is a real chance for you to make a real difference to someone's life.

The cover supervisor's main job is to manage a classroom, ensuring that students remain on task with the work they have been set; strong classroom management is therefore vital for this role.

Many cover supervisors often go on to complete accredited teacher training through a number of different routes. Regardless, gaining experience as a cover supervisor is the perfect way for you to decide for yourself if teaching is for you!

The benefits of working as a cover supervisor:

+ Daily pay of between £55-65
+ Flexible schedule
+ No planning or marking
+ Experience in a classroom
+ See if teaching is for you!

If this sounds like an opportunity you would be interested in, please do get in touch on 0115 853 2170 or contact aclark@protocol-education.com
