A supportive, inclusive school is seeking a Sports Coach to deliver high-quality, adapted physical education and sports sessions for students with SEND and SEMH needs. The role focuses on promoting confidence, social skills, and overall well-being in a safe and structured environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver inclusive sports sessions tailored to individual student needs
  • Adapt activities to ensure all students can participate fully
  • Collaborate with staff to align sessions with students’ IEPs
  • Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Promote teamwork, resilience, and emotional regulation through sport
  • Maintain health and safety standards at all times

Requirements:

  • Relevant sports coaching or PE qualification; SEND/SEMH experience preferred
  • Experience coaching or teaching children with additional needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt coaching techniques for diverse needs
  • Commitment to inclusion and student well-being

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
