Job Title: Speech and Language Therapist

Location: Ilford
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term
Start Date: ASAP

The Role

You will play a key role in supporting pupils’ communication development, working closely with teaching staff and the SENCO to deliver effective, targeted interventions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering 1:1 and small group speech and language interventions

  • Supporting pupils with EHCPs and personalised communication plans

  • Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff

  • Advising on strategies to create communication-friendly learning environments

  • Monitoring, assessing, and reporting on pupil progress

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Speech and Language Therapist with HCPC registration

  • Experience working with children or young people, ideally within an educational or SEND setting

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships

  • A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting diverse needs
