Job description
Speech and Language Learning Support Assistant - Hackney

A two form entry school in Hackney are looking to appoint a strong, well experienced Speech and Language LSA to run booster and intervention groups for small groups of children.

The successful candidate will have experience supporting children with SEN and must understand and support the importance of physical and emotional wellbeing, specialist language and communication skills. You will have the opportunity to work within a strong staff team with excellent facilities and resources to use in order to help develop the students learning.

To apply for the role, you must be qualified in at least one of the below;
·NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant
·NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant
·Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
·CACHE Level 3 in Childcare & Education
·BTEC National certificate in Childhood Studies.

We will also consider experienced learning support assistants (LSA's) and experience with the below needs are also desirable:

·Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
·Dyslexia
·Speech and language needs
