A good Secondary SEN School in Surrey are looking for a graduate with an interest in speech and language to join them and support a pupil with autistic spectrum disorder and speech and language difficulties.

This School are looking for an additional member of support staff to join them as soon as possible. The position is supporting a lovely pupil in Year 8 who has autism. He also has associated speech, language and communication difficulties. He is well behaved, with bags of energy and bags of potential!

This is a really rewarding role that could also help a graduate gain important experience prior to further study. The position would really suit a linguistics graduate, or someone who is hoping to go into Speech Therapy or Education Psychology. The role involves supporting the child in class, and also taking him out of class and doing more focussed workshops and interventions. There will be regular contact with Speech Therapists and Education Psychologists from the borough and you will also work closely with the school support worker.
