Specialist Support Assistant – SLD School – Rainham | September Start

We are working with a specialist SLD school in Rainham that is looking to appoint a caring and dedicated Specialist Support Assistant to join their supportive team from September.
This specialist school supports pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), providing a nurturing, inclusive, and personalised environment where every pupil is supported to achieve their individual goals. The school focuses on developing communication, independence, sensory awareness, and essential life skills while ensuring pupils receive the specialist care and support they need.
As a Specialist Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to provide high-quality, individualised support throughout the school day. You will assist pupils with their learning, communication, sensory activities, personal care, and mobility needs, helping to create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where every pupil can thrive.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
