Job description
Protocol is currently recruiting for talented SEND Teachers (possessing QTS) to work within an ASD specialist school setting. You will be experienced in working with pupils who have autism spectrum disorder and be highly skilled in using approaches known to be successful for learners with autism such as TEACCH and Visual Support Strategies. You will be familiar with a total communication approach to supporting pupils understanding as well as positive strategies for understanding, supporting and managing pupils with challenging behaviour.

We are looking for Teachers who are:

• Experienced in and passionate about working with pupils who have autism..
• Conscientious and committed.
• Innovative and forward thinking.
• Resilient with a positive attitude.
• Able to use their knowledge and skills to provide the best possible education for learners.
• Committed to working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Confident in dealing with young people who may sometimes display challenging behaviours.

Successful Applicants will be subject to references and an up to date DBS or be willing to apply for a Protocol DBS.
