We are currently recruiting learning support assistants to work in an outstanding specialist college located in Southwark to start after half-term. This outstanding college caters for post 16 students with special needs such as autism, physical disabilities and severe learning difficulties. As a teaching assistant you will be supporting students academically, developing life skills, social independence, participating in work placements and taking part in outdoor activities. The college are looking for people who either have experience or an interest in special needs and understand both personal and professional experience as equally important.

The role:
  • Working full time
  • Supporting students one to one
  • Working collaboratively as a team
  • Supporting students with sensory work
  • Assisting students in vocation course
  • Taking part in activities within the community
