Job description
An Outstanding' school in the West London borough of Hillingdon are looking for an experienced practitioner who is able to offer specialist one to one support for children on the Autistic Spectrum Disorder, ensuring they are able to thrive in mainstream education.

The school has a profound understanding of the importance of specialist support, and its practical implications for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and their welfare. Benefiting from a visionary and compassionate Head Teacher, and a motivated team of Teachers, there is an emphasis on high expectations for all students, ensuring that positive behaviour management is at the heart of ensuring that all children benefit from a rich and creative curriculum.

If you are looking to utilise your skills and experience as part of a team where they will be valued then this is a wonderful opportunity to make the next step in your career. The school are looking for people who are driven and engaged, with the skills and experience of working with children with SEND in a similar setting, ideally specialising in ASD. You will need to be available Monday-Friday 8:30-4, however 4 days a week would be considered for the right person, for example if you are studying in an area related to the position.
