A multi-academy trust and specialist alternative provision Academy based in the Nuneaton area that support pupils aged between 9 and 19 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH).

They require friendly, compassionate, ambitious and positive teaching assistants to join their Teaching & Learning team. You will be required to provide general classroom support and may also be asked to work on a one-to-one basis or in small groups. Previous experience of working with students with ASD, SEMH and experience in sensory play is desirable. The academy require staff to be highly motivated, this is so they can encourage and empower the pupils to thrive on their journey into adulthood.

£65 - £75 per day

Ideal Candidate:
Previous ASD, SEMH & Sensory play experience - desirable
Person-centred approach
Positive and highly motivated
Manual Handling/Team Teach/NAPPI training - desirable but not essential
