Position: Day to Day / Bank Staff

Protocol Education is looking for special needs teaching assistants to work in a primary special needs school in the London borough of Barnet on a day-to-day basis. Special needs teaching assistants need to provide a high level of support to children with a range of learning difficulties including ASD (autism), complex needs and PMLD.

The school has a family orientated feeling and firmly believes in providing the best care to each child. After your initial induction you will have the opportunity to work in sensory rooms, use manual handling equipment and support children in a specialised swimming unit.

You will need excellent inter-personal and communication skills, can work on your own initiative but also to be an effective team player. This is a dynamic and exciting post within a well-respected and high-profile team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
