Job description
Are you a graduate with a keen interest in Special Education Needs? Would you like to support children in a Mainstream Primary while also working with a young child with Autism, aiding their progression through school?

A well-loved Primary School in East London have a vacancy for an individual genuinely invested in the welfare of children to support across KS1 and KS2. When working 1:1 with pupils, your main focus will be ensuring they are engaged in the lessons and interacting with their peers, building their confidence in a pace that is good for them. In a more general capacity you will be supporting within the classroom, running booster sessions and interventions within specific subjects where children need more support. For this role it is vital you have good literacy and numeracy skills as well as a can-do attitude and a talent working with children!

>> A knowledge of Autism is desirable due to the nature of the role
>> £60-£65 per day with ongoing training and support, ideal for aspiring teachers/ psychologists
