As a SEND teaching assistant, your main responsibility will be to ensure pupils reach their full potential in their social, physical and academic development. As part of the support team, your main role will be to ensure a positive and engaging environment to the students you work with.
- Supporting students one a one to one basis
- Assisting the class teacher and working collectively as a team
- Encouraging speech development through the use of visual aids
- Encouraging physical and mobility development through movement, dance or swimming
- Managing pupils physical needs
