Protocol Education are currently recruiting teaching assistants to work in one of our outstanding schools located in Merton, London. We are looking for fun, engaging and motivated candidates to work in a supportive and rewarding special needs school. If successful, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of needs that include speech & language difficulties, severe learning difficulties & autism. This fun & caring environment requires candidates to support students with speech & language, develop sentence structure through the use of images, support them in creative lessons such as music, art and movement.

Main responsibilities include:
  • Working as part of a small team and supporting students collectively
  • Partaking in creative lessons and encouraging students to feel involved and immersed
  • Provide one to one support through out of the day to ensure students have a positive learning experience
  • Developing social awareness and independence
