Protocol education are looking for a special needs teaching assistant for a school located in Southwark, on a long term bass for students within a Primary School environment. For this specific role as a teaching assistant you are required to support adults between 5-11 years old with a range of learning difficulties including Autism and profound Multiple learning difficulties.

The schools objectives are to develop personalised pathways and choices so the pupils can meet their own aspirations. The school is centrally located to reach their local, swimming pool, park, shops and other outdoor areas.

Ideally the experience for this role is working with young with special educational needs, but this is not essential. You will need excellent communication skills and resilience. Also, to be able to use your own initiative and be a team player.
