A primary school based in the lively area of Sutton, are currently recruiting passionate and motivated individuals to join their team of teaching assistants. Your role would involve working within the special needs department of the school, which caters to up to 54 children who are all on the Autistic spectrum. You will be working in small groups of up to 6 with the children, as well as assisting them on a 1:1 basis when needed.

The role will involve you working during school term times, from 8am to 4pm, 5 days a week and on a long-term basis.

Both the school and the department take pride in ensuring that:
-They have comprehensive knowledge, understanding and experience when it comes to working with children with ASD.
-A deep understanding of each individual child's needs and being able to plan a curriculum that will help meet these.
-A multi-disciplinary approach where all staff members, as well as parents, work together to plan and deliver meaningful experiences to the children.
