A SEN School in Downham that I am working with is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed teacher for Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD) to join their team of specialist teachers in September 2019 as a class teacher.

The role of Specialist Teacher will also promote the inclusion of children and young people with Special Educational Needs through providing advice and support to schools and settings and, where appropriate, to parents/carers in liaison with other involved agencies.

About you
You will have significant, relevant experience which must include a proven track record of classroom teaching, evidence of further training in SEND and experience of working with pupils with ASD. You will have good interpersonal skills and excellent oral / written communication skills.

It is a requirement of this job that you hold Qualified Teacher Status and have at least two years' experience teaching in the UK.
