Job description
Do you have a passion for teaching within a PMLD environment? Can you engage, encourage and develop secondary pupils?

A South Yorkshire based special school renowned for their personalised teaching and flexible approach to learning are looking to appoint a secondary PMLD teacher.

The Ideal candidate will

Creative and engaging in order to develop each pupil individually

Keen to develop themselves and pupils to achieve positive outcomes

Able to coordinate support and motivate their support staff

Bright and resourceful whilst looking to achieve excellence,

Able to differentiate their approach for pupils of all abilities,

Write and contribute towards IEP’s and annual reviews

Plan engaging lessons designed to actively encourage maximum achievement from each pupil

Have excellent knowledge of P levels

Be a successful and active team member

Requirements

Must have a relevant teaching qualification

Must have relevant experience working with SLD/PMLD.

Must have CRB/DBS check issued within the past 12 months

Must be willing to embrace the culture and ethos of the school, presenting themselves as role model to pupils.
