A community-based independent specialist college, based in the Nuneaton area, supporting students aged between 16 and 25 years with a variety of needs including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD) and Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH).
This college is looking to recruit Teachers (Tutors) with experience in the Special Needs field for day to day, part time and full-time roles with immediate effect.

The college is looking for Teachers (Tutors) who are proactive, well-organised, flexible, empathetic and a team player to join their Curriculum Team.
The successful candidates will understand the importance of a person-centred approach and ensure the students' learning is a positive experience.
You will be required to set confidently manage behaviour in a calm manner, work effectively with the Learning Support Assistants and to ensure students are working towards achieving their objectives in the lesson.
The college promotes independency throughout the learning of their students, to support them on their journey to Employment and Independent Living.
Applicants must be willing to undergo the NAPPI training (National Association of Physical & Psychological Intervention) and assist with personal care when required.

About the Role:
SEND Teacher (Tutor)
Full Time Monday - Friday
Part Time Monday - Friday
8.30am - 4.00pm
£100 - £140 per day

Ideal Candidate:
Previous SEN experience - highly desirable
Willingness to train and complete courses relating to SEN
Proactive and well-organised
Team player
Willing to provide personal care.
Makaton experience - desirable.
Manual Handling/Team Teach/NAPPI training - highly desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
