We are working with well-established SEND School based in Wandsworth, who are seeking 2 learning support assistants to work within their school on a long term basis. They are seeking someone in their Primary phase and also their Secondary phase. The school have mainly SEMH pupils so it is vital that you have experience with this type of SEND.
The school support pupils who cannot cope within a mainstream environment and have been excluded; the school support the pupils by having small class sizes and by ensuring all of the staff members are committed to their all round well being inside and outside the classroom.

This particular school is located within Wandsworth a short walk away from Putney Station, with excellent transport links in and around the school.

The role:
• 5 days a week, term time only
• 8:30-4:00pm
• Based in the Borough of Wandsworth
• Working across either Primary or Secondary site
• Working immediately for the rest of the academic year

You must have:
• Experience of working with PECs or Makaton
• At least 6 months of experience working with SEHM or challenging behaviour
• Experience of supporting pupils of a Primary or Secondary age in any capacity including sports coaching or youth mentoring

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
