Protocol Education are currently recruiting teaching assistants to work in an outstanding special needs located in Lambeth to start immediately or in September 2021. As a teaching assistant you will working with secondary students wwho have a diagnosis of autism, challenging behaviour or social, emotional & mental health. As part of the role you will be required to work with students on a one to one basis, support within a class setting, maintain students focus in lessons, differentiate work to meet the students needs and implement strategies to enable students overcome overwhelming situations.

Main Duties:
  • Maintain students focus and behaviour within an educational setting
  • Developing & implementing strategies to overcome overwhelming situations
  • Working with the teacher to assess pupils' levels and ability
  • Ensuring the schools ethos and policies are being implemented
