Job description
A special needs primary school is currently looking for teaching assistants to join their team on a flexible basis for day to day bookings with the view of going into a long-term position. This school good transport links as it is situated near bus stops, a tram stop and also has free parking on the roads surrounding the site.

Experience working/volunteering with children who have autism and/or learning difficulties is essential for this role as this school caters for a range of special needs.

For this role:
• You must be available at least three days a week to start at 08.15/30 and finish 3.30/4pm and be happy to accept on the morning bookings.
• You must have experience working/volunteering with children with special needs, experience with autism is preferred but not essential.
• You should be a proactive and enthusiastic.
• The ideal candidate would have experience using Makaton or be open to learn.
