Reception Special Needs Teaching Assistant - Full Time

Sutton: £80 - £100 per day

Looking for a Teaching Assistant to work 1 to 1 with a Boy in Reception who is wheelchair bound and needs some support. 

Cognitively he is getting on very well but does need support with moving around and with his learning. There will also be an element of personal care involved so previous experience with this or experience in a care home would be advantageous. 

Someone who can commit and stay constant for a young boy.

The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant

As an SEN Teaching Assistant you will be working closely with a pupil in Reception who is wheelchair bound. He is a very able student and will just need some extra support in class. You will be supporting him with academic progress whilst also helping boost confidence and social skills.

The School

The school is a lovely well run primary school, based in Hackbridge, Sutton. It's a two-form entry school and boasts an experienced senior leadership team that continues to support all members of staff and pupils. The school is based a short 10 min walk from Mitcham Junction Station and is also surrounded by multiple bus routes.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
