Job description
Are you passionate about engaging young people to develop onto a positive outcome?

Have you got experience in a Pupil Referral Unit or an EBD school?

Do you enjoy working with complex behaviours?

If yes then read on.

Protocol Education are looking for experienced EBD Teaching Assistants preferably with Team teach who can commit to short and long term assignments with an EBD school in Derbyshire.

Working for this pupil focused EBD School you will be supporting pupils across the school KS2- KS4 with the full curriculum including Maths, English, PE and Science as well as vocational subjects..

What makes this an excellent school is the high level of support given not only to the pupils but to the staff that work there. With a successful learning environment even the most disengaged pupil’s progress to positive outcomes.

This school require a Teaching Assistant who has experience working with challenging young people and will be able to manage behaviours effectively. A Team Teach qualification or similar is required for this role as there will be the occasion where you will be required to de-escalate situations

In addition to the above the candidate will have;

References to cover 2 years of previous employment

An enhanced DBS Check (or be willing to have a new one processed through Protocol)

Legal right to work in the UK
