Protocol Education are currently working with a special needs setting, which is a new provision for young people between the ages of 8-18 years who have learning difficulties.

The aim of the college is to help provide the young adults with employment and supported living, preparing them for independent living and getting them ready for work.

They are currently searching for new members of staff for the college, to assist in the classrooms. If you are resilient, patient, motivated and enthusiastic with the idea of bettering the lives of others; this is the role for you.

The Role:
-Working from 8am to 4pm, during school term times.
-Working with children who have learning difficulties effectively.
-Being interactive with the children and understanding their means of communication.

Requirements for the role:
-You must have experience of working with vulnerable adults or children with learning difficulties or challenging behaviour.
-An enhanced DBS disclosure on the update service or willingness to undertake one.
-You must be able to provide us with a relevant child/school/support working reference within the past 3 years.
-A right to work in the UK.
