Job description
Protocol Education are an educational recruitment company supplying schools with long term and daily support assistants and teachers, we work with well established SEN schools based in Barnet and are looking to recruit new support staff ASAP. Previous experience working with children with varying special needs within a school is essential.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Taking instruction from the teacher
• Working on a 1:1 bases with a child who has ASD
• Assisting with learning and social skills
• Previous experience in personal care is not essential as on the job training can be given to the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience and knowledge of SEN
• Experience in personal care
• Patience, empathy, resilience and confidence
• Capable of following instructions as well as the ability to use own initiative
