Are you looking for a career where you can make a diference to a child everyday in a Special Needs (SEND) school?


A Primary SEN school require a friendly, caring and positive Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their support team. You will be required to provide general classroom support and may also be asked to work on a one-to-one basis or in small groups. Previous experience of working with Special Education Needs (SEN) pupils is desirable, but not essential. Those wishing to gain experience in this field are more than welcome to apply for the position. Training can be provided to the successful candidate.

The school pride themselves on ensuring a person centre approach is embedded at all times in the school and care about their students reaching their full potential. 

Candidates who have any Team Teach or NAPPI training experience (or similar) are highly desirable, but not essential as training can be provided during the placement.

About the Role:
Special Needs Teaching Assistant

Full time and part time work available 

Monday - Friday

8.30am – 4.00pm

Ideal Candidate:
Previous SEN experience - highly desirable but not essential

Caring, friendly & reliable

Proactive and positive

Team Teach or NAPPI trained (or similar) - highly desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
