We are are currently recruiting care experienced teaching assistants to work in one of our special needs schools located in Wandsworth to start immeidately or in January 2022. This particular school caters for students aged from 3 to 19 years old with special needs that include autism, hearing/visual impairments, physical disabilities, severe learning difficulties, complex needs, and speech & language difficulties. As a teaching assistant you will be working with students on a one to one basis, support students with speech & language development, promote a positive learning experience and develop motor skills. Successful candidates must be passionate about having a positive impact on their wellbeing, learning & development. This role will be starting immediately and is a year long role with an option of extending. In addition, you can also have the opportunity of working residential hours.

The role:
  • Monday to Friday
  • Support sensory development
  • Adhere to the safeguarding policy
  • Differentiate the work to meet the students needs
  • Working one to one with students
  • Working as part of a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
